IBM TGMC-07

well this ibm head ache came to an end finally on the 15th dats on pongal day......well lots of sacrifices were made by everyone of us involved in the project to bring it to the shape it is in when we submitted.Jus hoping those pains will give fruit!!!

To begin with some IBM guy came and organized a seminar in our college and described about the latest IT trends and where it is going then he started about tgmc-The great Mind Challenge 2007......its just a web application development programme.For more info check out www.tgmc.in.

Well on hearing about it i had decided to do it.I asked praveen and parthiban there it self they too agreed.Raghavan was not there at that moment.Many in our class decided to do which included 8.5 Kamlesh,our gowribai,gokul and bubly praveen many more it seems who i dunno.

Then we 4 had decided to do it.In the meantime....the 3 lolayis of our class had asked one of our group member to join them it seems,he had denied.And ya our topic was Tourism Management Solutions.

Sept 15 was last day to submit synopsis,later extended to Oct 15th.We somehow managed to do it on date thanx to the efforts of parthiban which is worth mentioning.I had split the use case work to the three and the rest small small silra works i did.The three mailed their copies to me,I compiled them and by Oct 15th evening we had submitted the synopsis by mailing them.

Now begins the ultimate task to be done,well within 15 days end sem exams where supposed to begin so we did nt start the projet seriously.Exams rolled off november.Then in December we had holidays till 14th and day of submission was 15th.we started with designing er etc.....it went on and finally we thought of starting coding,thats the day when kamlesh,KK ad shanthakumar had come for their tgmc project.And there was a good news in tgmc website that the day was postponed to Jan 15th.

well the speed and force with which we had planned our work jus got diluted......now there was a need for some other force to mobilise our project.Well then i came abt the website www.cooltext.com. where we created bubly vista look like buttons for our project thats where we started and after several versions of our homepage we designed our final version of homepage when i went to praveen's house with parthi,KK,shanthakumar on new year eve.

Thats where we started and i think i did justice to the project as a team member,i hope our project leader Praveen accepts it,though i slept off on the day b4 submission........sorry for that guys......

It was 15th we had to submit on this day i woke up at 6 and did Java doc and jsp doc.then went to raghavan's house...current went off in his house.We had to leave to praveen's house then.......parthiban came later and joined us.there we did most of the remaining work and left praveen's house by 3:30.......reached guindy 4 and adyar gate hotel(ttk road) by 4:30........it was a long walk to IBM towers (near shankara hall) nearly 3 km ...we handed over the cd by 5:15 and returned home........

Well overall it was the 1st pongal i did nt taste my favourite sakara pongal made by my mom......which i like the most in her cooking!!!!!!!!!!!
