A Happy Ending to a Disastrous End Sem

Well what to say,today the day after the most bizarre month i ever faced in my life,have not faced such an exam in my life.This sem I had a very poor attendance.And also a new order was issued by Anna university dat attendance carries 10 marks in internals,that is according to attendance percentage if

• 0-75==>0 marks
• 75-80==>2 marks
  
• 80-85==>4 marks
  
• 85-90==>6 marks
  
• 90-95==>8 marks
  
• 95-100==>10 marks

And before even the sem began I was down with chicken pox and one of my dear friend said dis attendance marks information

I returned to college only on July 12 Whoosh already 10 day attendance gone!!!!!!
And this sem I was involved in a few paper presentation at some symposiums with my classmate Arvin again no OD was given for that.But on the last working day only I came to know OD was there,I tried but did not bother to look it up seriously All this led to a poor attendance marks and eventually a very poor internal marks with the lowest being 29 in System Software with 0 in attendance.

Anyway sem came to an end on Nov 7

And it was time to concentrate on the end sem beginning with OOAD on Nov13
It had full of stories except in dat question to draw class diagram etc did i have full confidence in.

Next was System Software
"I had nothing to lose"
Given the poor internal marks in SS,so did study hard but to my bad luck the 1st chapter which i studied very well not even a single question came
any way hav done average only,it all depends on DK sir now

Then it was graphics on Nov 19(prepounded by a day coz the xam was actually on 20th)one of the misleading paper where in class totally irrelevant to syllabus was taught and wat came was strictly to syllabus, and also the previous day got the message from class rep that it was enough to study his notes:-(.Bullshit!! As a precaution i studied syllabus portion only an hour before the exam in Shanthakumar's room and managed the xam somewat.

Halfway through the exam now 3 more left to go.I was a bit happy that the 3 which are left I have a clear mindset what is in syllabus and what may come in exam but it proved to be misleading

So it was Networks on Nov 24 had done a decent job in studying but the question paper was a Shoaib Akhtar bouncer,a Bret Lee beamer Except for 3 16 marks I am not sure about any other question ,many of my friends had nt done well it seems

Next it was Mangalam mam's DSP on Nov 27 ;-( had bunked a lots of classes so had nt understood either IIR or FIR filter well nothing can be done about it now coz the D-Day was here.Had studied well was surprised that i understood both filters but should hav luked it up before xam in exam hall forgot both iir and fir procedure already the paper seemed to be so tough a googly coz actually the paper was direct but I had complicated my answers,I hav not written such a horrible paper in my life time,Jus after finishing the paper even had the doubt whether I will pass or not but thanx for that sweet news said by raghavan to whom his dear friend(pink peter or pep or whoever she is, leave it for now) had sed,now I hav a bit faith that I may pass just a pass is wat I am desperate for ,the internals of 41 will assure me atleast a C grade.

Anyway Past is past look out for the future.

Next is my favourite subject Theory of Computation on the Nov 30 and it is the concluding exam. I already hav internal of 40 off 40 and dunno abt attendance so even some 75 off 100 in end sem will assure me an A grade.And preps were nt that gud may be coz of the over confidence but thanx to shantha kumar whom me and praveen taught turing machine and exactly the 2 questions were repeated in the paper proper subtraction and double tape TM
rest of the 16 marks hav nt done that great anyway internals will take care i hope.

Lord Murugar was there with me from the beginning to the end of this november even my orkut display pic is Malaysia murugar and through his blessing alone I was able to perform dis exam in a decent manner.And watever grade i get is his results only.I hav done what i was supposed to do (but i dont think hav done it to the best of my ability) and I am not bothered about the results.Whatever be the result the glory goes to my creator Lord Muruga

Anyway I am Pre-final year Information Technology,Engineering student
Studying at Anna University(MIT Campus,Chromepet)

I did my schooling from DAV,for a short time of 2 years dats the XI and XII
Did my major part of schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1,Vasco-da-gama,Goa from 5th to 10th.I studied there coz my mom was posted as PG.Teacher in that school.
Before which I studied in Chennai only
after all Chennai is my hometown and the city which is so close to my heart,I am so passionate abt Chennai
Anyway when I did my primary schooling in Chennai I had been jumping from one school to another almost every year which included MCTM(Ist std),then Gill Adarsh(IInd and IIIrd) and then DAV Gopalapuram(IV standard)

Some of the greatest blunder I did in my life:

• Came to Chennai to join State Board leaving CBSE.I had scored 94% in Xth,due to my Mom's wish of a secure future if I study in State Board I came here.Though I did secure a 96% here,A guy with my same marks in AIEEE secured Goa state rank 3,I had secured TamilNadu state rank 357:-(. Also I missed BITSAT by 5 marks(I might hav cleared the cut-off if i had a CBSE background).
• Stopped playing Cricket in my Xth ,I had taken hat-tricks scored tons even had scored a 201(my persnal Highest Score) in a test match jus some 2 months before 10th std commenced,But I never went to play coz of exam pressure which any other student of my class would have had then.But when I resumed playing after Xth I turned out to be a miserable cricketer worthless of even catching a straight catch jus like one of the character in Chennai-28
• It was jus some two days after I had bought my cycle[Herules MTB DX,the red one which I am still using to go to college].One of my dear friend Maruthi was teaching me to ride,I was ready to drive myself the very second day itself,when the then KV-1 Principal Maam[Nalayini]'s daughter(she was some 5 years old i think) was playing I rang my bell,she did nt move I did nt know my cycle did have something called brake:d DASHED ON HER!!!!!!
• Staged a play regarding the continuity of one of our english lessons,I scripted a great play with some futuristic time traveling etc but we never practiced,when the day came it turned out to be gr8 FLOP SHOW when the guy holding the curtains I think it was Ulhas pulled it down and v wer changing our dresses....and the entire class saw it[hushhhhh...an embarassing act]
• Lots more there some are private and unsharable and the rest I will post in the blogs to come
